Lancaster, Palmdale offices closed for King holiday

In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, all city of Lancaster offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 21. City offices will reopen Tuesday, Jan. 22, resuming normal business hours.

City Hall’s regular business hours are from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday. City Maintenance Yard normal hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday.

The Museum of Art and History’s regular hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday, with extended hours to 8 p.m. on Thursdays. MOAH is normally closed on Mondays.

Palmdale city offices will be closed as well, along with South Antelope Valley Emergency Services, the Palmdale Playhouse, Legacy Commons for Active Seniors, and the Palmdale City Library. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 22.
