A job fair for prospective homeless services professionals will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at Los Angeles Southwest College, 1600 W. Imperial Hwy., in Los Angeles.

More than 1,000 positions are reportedly available in assisting homeless service providers. Among the entry-level positions are case managers, outreach workers, housing navigators, and administrative and finance personnel. Managerial positions include supervisors, coordinators, program managers and directors.

On Jan. 21, an open house job fair will take place for prospective employees at Honda of Downtown LA. Positions include those in sales, customer service and various technicians. Candidates must bring their resume, a California driver licence or identification card, and their social security card.
