Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn has been named the recipient he recipient of the Los Angeles Sports Council’s 2018 Coach of the Year award.
Lynn will be honored by the group during the 14th annual L.A. Sports Awards, which will be held March 25 at the Beverly Hilton.
The group cited Lynn’s leadership of the Chargers to the team’s first playoff berth in five years. Previous recipients of the honor include Rams coach Sean McVay, Dodgers skipper Dave Roberts and Clippers coach Doc Rivers.
The L.A. Sports Awards recognize the greatest moments and personalities in sports in the Los Angeles/Orange County area.
