The Inglewood City Council has approved the construction of a new Hilton Tru Hotel in the City. The proposed hotel, located at the corner of 111th Street and Prairie Avenue, is within proximity the new NFL stadium and Hollywood Park developments.

“As Inglewood grows and thrives, creating good jobs for our residents remains a top priority,” said Inglewood Mayor James Butts. “This hotel will serve our visitors well when they come to Inglewood, but more importantly, it will provide economic development dollars to the City and good jobs to our residents.”

The hotel will include 120 guest rooms, as well as a 2,800-foot lobby with pool tables, board games and work stations. The hotel will also offer a 24/7 “Eat & Sip” Market, a fitness room, an outdoor patio and a rooftop deck. The hotel will provide 33 1/3 percent of onsite jobs to Inglewood residents.

Construction is expected to begin immediately. Completion is expected in early 2020.
