The Friends of the Palmdale City Library are seeking entries for their “Fab-BOO-lous and Friendly Tale” drawing and writing contest, which is free to enter and  open to all ages.

The contest runs through Tuesday, Oct. 23. There will be a drawing contest for kids ages 10 and under, a writing contest for kids ages 11 to 17 years, and one writing contest for adults. Winners will be announced on Oct.27 with prizes being awarded in each of the three categories.  Entry forms are available at the Palmdale City Library, 700 E. Palmdale Blvd.

“We look forward to seeing all of the creativity,” said Friends President Tina Victory. “Judging the contest will be a lot of fun, and we are looking for additional volunteers to help.”
