LA Chargers’ starting linebacker, Uchenna Nwosu, will be a guest speaker at the annual Blue Door Bash hosted by local non-profit – The Boys and Girls Club of Carson. Nwosu has recently partnered with the organization in hopes to draw attention to its important mission of helping young children feel safe, grow, learn, and have fun.
The gala will be held on Oct. 18 at the Porsche Experience Center Los Angeles, 19800 S. Main St., in Carson. The event kicks off at 5 p.m. and will conclude at 9 p.m. The itinerary includes a VIP reception, cocktail hour, silent auction, and a dinner program. Uchenna Nwosu will speak during the dinner program around 7 p.m. Nwosu is expected to discuss a powerful message of why the organization means so much to him and why he has chosen to partner with them.

“The Boys & Girls Clubs of Carson (BGCC) helps bridge the gap between school and home, welcoming 850+ kids on any given day. We offer high quality after-school programming at 10 locations in Carson and South Los Angeles for youth ages 6-18 years old,” according to Boys & Girls Club officials.
