A reward of $50,000 has been announced for information that helps police solve the gang-related drive-by shooting death of a man in South Los Angeles last fall.

Antonio Wilson, 27, was shot about 6 p.m. Nov. 14, 2017 as he stood in a parking lot in the 4300 block of South Vermont Avenue. A white four-door BMW 3 Series sedan—possibly a 2010 model or newer—pulled up to Wilson, and shots were fired at him, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The car then sped off.

Wilson died at a hospital on Nov. 30.

The suspect was described as a Black man about 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing about 165 pounds, the LAPD reported.

The reward was offered by the Los Angeles City Council for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect. Anyone with information on the crime was urged to call LAPD South Bureau homicide detectives at (323) 786-5110, or (877) LAPD-247.
