The Thomas Jefferson High School reunion committee will host on Sept. 15 its 19th annual “Gathering of Democrats” picnic from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at historic Fulton Field, 1319 E. 41st St., in Los Angeles.
Bring your picnic basket and enjoy an afternoon of music, food and reminiscing with old friends. The event has helped to raise funds for scholarships, community outreach, mentoring and has collected funds to supply academic materials and athletic equipment. Cheerleaders from throughout the years are expected to be on hand, as well as former teachers and administrators.
