A motorcycle rider was killed in a collision with a vehicle in Lancaster and investigators are looking into what caused the crash.

The accident occurred in the 3600 block of East Avenue J, around 8:40 p.m. Wednesday, said Lt. R. Cartmill of the Sheriff’s Lancaster Station.

The motorcyclist was traveling eastbound when he collided with a Toyota Camry that may have made a U-turn in front of the motorcycle, according to a report from the scene.

No arrest has been made at this time and the investigation into the crash is continuing, Cartmill said.
