A store clerk in Memphis has been charged with first degree murder over the weekend after he reportedly shot a 17-year-old for stealing beer from a corner store. Anwar Ghazali, 28, who worked at Top Stop Shop, has been charged in the death of Dorian Harris, 17. According to Memphis local media, Harris allegedly walked into the store after 2 p.m. on Thursday and took “at least one beer” and walked out. Ghazali pulled out a gun and ran after him, firing several shots at the teen. He returned to the store and did not call the police. It wasn’t until two days later that police found Harris’ lifeless body near the store, and after interviewing people in the neighborhood, including Ghazali, the police arrested him.
