The city of Santa Clarita is widely-hailed as a business-friendly community, attracting companies from around the world by offering small businesses and corporations amenities that are hard to find elsewhere.

Incentives such as lower business taxes, a highly educated workforce, site selection assistance and plenty of space for expansion have drawn many organizations to our Valley. The newest edition of the Santa Clarita Business Minute video series features Scorpion, a fast-growing and innovative company on the forefront of marketing and technology with headquarters in Valencia.

Established in Santa Clarita in 2001, Scorpion eventually grew out of their office space and began the search for a new location for their headquarters. After exploring various options, Scorpion made the conscious decision to stay and grow in the Santa Clarita Valley for a number of reasons, including the recent tech boom taking place in the area.

Scorpion’s company culture, which is highlighted in the Santa Clarita Business Minute, attracts and retains a competitive and talented workforce, many of whom choose to live in the City. Over the past 17 years, Scorpion has expanded its operations to include offices in Colorado, Texas and New York, serving a variety of clients in the legal, healthcare, home services, medical, franchise and small business industries, among others. The organization moved into their newly built, custom-designed campus located at 27750 Entertainment Drive in Valencia this past November.

Santa Clarita Business Minute viewers will learn more about Scorpion as a business, as well as its reasons for calling Santa Clarita home and its plans for the future.

The Santa Clarita Business Minute is a video campaign designed to spotlight successful local companies, as well as programs offered by the City’s Economic Development Division. Santa Clarita is home to more than 6,000 diverse global, national and regional companies.
