Frankie Avalon, a legend of stage and screen, will perform at 8 p.m. tomorrow at  the Lancaster Performing Arts Center (LPAC) on Saturday, March 10.

Frankie Avalon’s music and acting career spans more than 50 years, from his classic “Beach Party” movies with the late Annette Funicello, and appearances on a series of variety shows during the golden age of television, to his present day success. In 1978, Avalon appeared as Teen Angel, a character originally modeled after his persona, and performed a stunning version of “Beauty School Dropout” in the film rendition of the hit musical “Grease.” Frankie Avalon also dominated the music charts for years with dozens of popular songs in the 50s and 60s, including “Why” and “Venus.” As an original teen idol and an icon of American rock and roll music, Avalon continues to entertain audiences worldwide.

Tickets are $69, $49, and $44 and may be purchased online at www.LPAC.org, by phone at (661) 723-5950, or at the box office, 750 W. Lancaster Blvd., from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
