The BLVD Association in Lancaster is hosting its second annual Restaurant Week in conjunction with California Restaurant Month, designated by Visit California. Continuing through tomorrow, Restaurant Week on The BLVD is spotlighting downtown Lancaster eateries, serving as a perfect opportunity for foodies and residents alike to dine local and eat global, as they awaken their sense of taste.

California is the number one destination for food-loving travelers in America, and with more than two dozen fine restaurants lining The BLVD the visitor dining options are nearly endless. Patrons can enjoy everything from American classics, Mediterranean, and Italian cuisine — to El Salvadorian, Chinese, Brazilian delicacies, sweet treats and much more. Tantalize your taste buds with a traditional lamb gyro, satisfy your palate with a savory serving of poutine, and top it all off with a delectably sweet cupcake.

Restaurant Week on The BLVD is part of California Restaurant Month. Now in its eighth year, California Restaurant Month drives increased business to local restaurants, while enticing out-of-state travelers to visit California. While indulging upon The BLVD’s internationally appetizing food selection, travelers and residents alike are encouraged to engage with the Lancaster community and explore the newly designated BLVD Cultural District, the epicenter for events and activities in the Antelope Valley. Explore the district’s historic sites like the Western Hotel Museum, while learning of the city’s rich history; be intrigued by the newest exhibition adoring the walls of MOAH:CEDAR, as well as the POW! WOW! Antelope Valley murals on display throughout downtown; and patronize the BLVD’s unique collection of retailers.
