Murder victim identified

The coroner’s office has released the name of a woman stabbed to death as a result of an ongoing dispute between two women in South Los Angeles.

She was Brittneeh Williams, 24, of Los Angeles, coroner’s Lt. Larry Dietz said.

A woman was stabbed to death about 10:35 p.m. Jan. 19 near Normandie and Florence avenues, where she was pronounced dead at the scene, Officer Rosario Herrera of the LAPD’s Media Relations Section said.

LAPD detectives at the 77th Street Station asked anyone with information regarding the death to call them at (213) 485-4164.
