In celebration of Black History Month, the Palmdale Playhouse will present tomorrow “A Tribute To Grover T. Washington” beginning at 8 p.m.
“Don’t miss this musical tribute to one of the greatest American jazz-funk/soul-jazz saxophonists to hit the jazz circuit, who is also considered to be the founder of smooth jazz,” said Annie Pagliaro, Palmdale Recreation Supervisor. “The Herbie Kae Band will perform Washington’s most memorable hits, including “mister Magic,” Soulful Strut” and “Just The Two Of Us.”
