Chance The Rapper does not put up with racism, even if it comes from an anonymous Internet troll who veiled his comments. The Grammy-winning Illinois resident tweeted a story from CBS in Los Angeles about men that are unsure of being able to hug women in wake of all the sexual harassment accusations. Chance added his own perspective at the end, saying, “Gross. Don’t.” Chance’s entry sparked a lively debate on Twitter, but one user went too far. “We’re cutting off all human contact between the sexes now? Isn’t that Sharia law?” commented someone by the screen name of Joeynemati. (FYI Sharia Law is Islamic.) Chance called him out: “Stop trying to make people hug you Joey,” Chance replied. “No one wants your hugs or hyperbolic racist comparisons or unbuttoned top button.”
