President Donald Trump continues to come under fire from political critics. Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney, who is white, straight out insulted the president, as well as his family. In a speech on Wednesday (Nov. 22), Kenney said, “I don’t know where he was raised, but his family didn’t do a good job…” During his speech at Philadelphia Hall, Kenney called out the White House for showing no compassion with the decision to remove the “temporary protected status” for Haitians by July 2019. According to the Huffington Post, the status gives people from certain natural disaster areas permission to live and work in the U.S. without being deported. Kenney called the president’s immigration policies “un-American,” adding that Trump should “get out” of the country himself. “I’m just beside myself with sadness because our president is a bully, our president is a punk and he just doesn’t get it,” he added.
