The coroner’s office this week released the name of a Canyon Country woman killed in Santa Clarita when a truck rear-ended a car and pushed it into a city bus.

She was Marie Davis, 67, coroner’s Investigator Jerry McKibben said.

The crash was at 5:08 p.m. Nov. 4 at Golden Valley Road and the Sierra Highway, said Lt. Rob Hahnlein of the sheriff’s Santa Clarita station. The woman in the car, now identified as Davis, was pronounced dead at the scene, he said.

A passenger on the Santa Clarita Transit bus suffered a minor arm injury. The truck was pulling a trailer, Hahnlein said.
