The 2017 African American Vanguard Awards reception was created by Lord, Bush & Randolph to recognize African Americans who have made a positive impact on the City of Los Angeles and its communities. This year, in conjunction with NAN’s Los Angeles chapter, the firm will honor 100 of the most prominent and influential Blacks. The event takes place this Thursday, Nov. 9, at the California African American Museum in Exposition Park in Los Angeles from 5 until 9 p.m. Some of the honorees include Judge Greg Mathis, Sen. Steve Bradford, Dr. Soraya Coley, KJLH’s Aundrae Russell and many more.
