AV NAACP plans Freedom Fund 2017

The Antelope Valley NAACP will hold its annual fundraising event to support service initiatives and progressive programs relating to education, family, health, business and civil rights. The Freedom Fund 2017 will be held at the Antelope Valley Country club at 39800 Country Club Dr., Palmdale, from 4 to 6 p.m.

An exciting evening is planned with keynote speaker, Black Lives Matter organizer and professor and chair of Pan African Studies at Cal State Los Angeles, Dr. Melina Abdullah. The guest artist will be Alberto Franco. There will be recognition of local Freedom Fighters along with dinner. Attire is semi-formal.
