The Palmdale City Library’s monthly knit and crochet program will be held Thursday, Oct. 12, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the activity room of the library, located at 700 E. Palmdale Blvd.
Spin a Yarn is held on the second Thursday of each month. Knowledge of the basics is required, but all skill levels from beginner to advanced are welcome. Participants work independently and should bring their own yarn and needles or hooks. The library will provide snacks and refreshments and participants will have access to the library’s books on knitting and crocheting.
“The holiday season is right around the corner. Get a jump start on gifts and décor by bringing your projects into the library,” said Library Associate Jaimie Jordan.
The Palmdale City Library is open seven days a week. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m.
