The Lancaster Performing Arts Center Foundation (LPAC) will host its seventh annual Gala and Grand Auction under the theme “Blazing Saddles” tomorrow at 6 p.m. Tickets remain available at $125 person.

In a nod to the popular Mel Brooks comedy, the program will benefit the LPAC Foundation which provides support for educational programming, school outreach, bus funding, and ticket scholarships for school performances at the arts center, as well as providing funds for enhancements at the facility.

Guests will be entertained by the popular Country artists JB and the Big Circle Riders, while dining on ranch-style fare with complimentary beverages and have access to freshly-rolled cigars at the on-site cigar lounge, courtesy of H.W. Hunter Inc.

The highlight of the evening will be an auction that will feature more than 20 packages including day and overnight trips, VIP sports packages, NASCAR and America’s Cup experiences, an Antelope Valley Fair VIP package, Streets of Lancaster Grand Prix Team Race for 10, premium advertising packages, a private Berkut airplane ride with aviation legend Dick Rutan, digital marketing packages, BLVD dining and entertainment, and a variety of local goods and services.

Students from throughout the Antelope Valley are impacted each year by the LPAC’s Arts for Youth program. With limited funding affecting many local schools, the LPAC Foundation helps to address the ongoing need to fund these experiences for students who may not otherwise witness live theater.

Among the sponsors of the fund-raising event are Antelope Valley Chevrolet, Antelope Valley Fair Association, Marco and Sandra Johnson Foundation, AV Web Designs, and the University of Antelope Valley.

The LPAC box office is located at 750 W. Lancaster Blvd. For tickets or more information, call (661) 723-5950 or visit www.LPAC.org.
