The Dodgers will unveil a Jackie Robinson statue—the first statue in Dodger Stadium history—on April 15, when the club will join all of Major League Baseball in celebrating Jackie Robinson Day. Saturday marks the 70th anniversary of Robinson breaking MLB’s color barrier on April 15, 1947.
The dedication ceremony will begin at 3 p.m. followed by the game (Dodgers vs. Diamondbacks) at 6:10 p.m.
The first 40,000 ticketed fans in attendance will receive a replica Jackie Robinson statue, presented by Bank of America. Tickets can be purchased online at Dodgers.com/tickets.
