The Los Angeles County coroner’s office this week released the name of a 31-year-old man killed in the rollover crash of a pickup truck in Lake Los Angeles near Palmdale.

The deceased was Tibursio Leyva of Lake Los Angeles, said the coroner’s Lt. Larry Dietz.

The crash happened about 3 p.m. April 1 at 162nd Street East and East Avenue O, according to California Highway Patrol Officer Alex Rubio. The white 1999 Ford F-150 was going westbound on Avenue O when it left the roadway and went into the northern dirt shoulder, the CHP reported.

The truck rolled over, and the driver now identified as Leyva was ejected, according to the CHP. He was not wearing a seatbelt. Responding paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.

Alcohol or drugs were not suspected to be contributing factors in the crash. The CHP’s Antelope Valley area office asked any witnesses to call (661) 948-8541.
