Heavy rain causes traffic issues

LOS ANGELES (CNS) – Heavy rain caused flooding, mudslides and other traffic issues today, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The CHP Incident Log showed flooding at 4:35 a.m. in the fast lane of the Glen Anderson (105) Freeway at Nash Street in El Segundo.

There was flooding at 4:53 a.m. at 80th Street and Avenue T in Little Rock.

A rock slide about 5 a.m. caused flat tires for some vehicles at Las Virgenes and Piuma roads in Malibu.

A mud slide at 5:19 a.m. blocked lanes of the transition road from the northbound Foothill (210) Freeway to the northbound Orange (57) Freeway in Glendora.

At 5:24 a.m. there was flooding in lane 1 of the northbound Santa Ana (5) Freeway at Norwalk Boulevard in Norwalk.

Rocks blocked the roadway at 5:27 a.m. on Vasquez Canyon Road at Sierra Highway in Canyon Country.
