Southland prices on the rise again

LOS ANGELES (CNS) – The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose for the fourth consecutive day today, increasing six-tenths of a cent to $2.743.

The average price is 2.3 cents more than one week ago and 1.1 cents more than one month ago, but 26.1 cents lower than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The Orange County average price rose two-tenths of a cent today to $2.741.

The Orange County average price is 2.6 cents more than one week ago and 2.6 cents more than one month ago, but 27 cents lower than one year ago.
