Search for missing woman

Sheriff’s detectives asked for the public’s help this week to find a 61-year-old woman suffering from dementia and bipolar disorder who went missing in Palmdale.

Rose Mary Arnwine was last seen about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, at a post office at 220 E. Palmdale Blvd., according to the sheriff’s department.

Arnwine is Black and stands about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds, according to the sheriff’s department. She has black hair in short braids, brown eyes and wears glasses.

She was last seen wearing a blue and white checkered shirt, a tan vest, gray pants and black boots. She also has scars on both arms and her wrists.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call 911 or Sgt. Nunez at the sheriff’s Missing Persons Unit at (323) 890-5500. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477.
