The city of Palmdale will conduct landlord training classes on Sept. 21 and again on the Sept. 28 from 6 to 10 p.m. at the administration training room at Palmdale City Hall, 38300 Sierra Hwy., Suite A.
Space is limited for the classes which are open to any resident who owns or manages a rental property; you must attend both sessions to officially complete the training program. A pre-registration fee of $25 is required and will include all necessary training materials.
The classes are designed to instruct local owners and managers of multifamily rental properties how to prevent illegal activity at the property; organizers say the course can serve as a practical guide oriented toward property management and will review current laws and regulations on how to manage one or multiple rental units. Property owners wishing to obtain certification under the city of Palmdale Partners Against Crime program must complete the course.
