People who want to vote in the Nov. 8, general election must register by Oct. 24.
To register online, go to the website: http://registertovote.ca.gov. Make sure you have the following information: Your California driver license or California identification card number, the last four digits of your social security number and your date of birth.
To register in person, pick up a form at your local library or post office, complete it and mail it into the county registrar/recorder’s office at P.O. Box 1024, Norwalk, Calif., 90651-1024. For information, call (562) 466-1310.
California residents are eligible to vote, if they are no longer on probation or parole.
