Robber sought for stealing Iphones in Culver City Mall

Police today sought the public’s help in identifying a gunman who stole Apple iPhones from a kiosk at the Westfield Culver City mall. The robbery took place about 9 p.m. on March 25, according to Culver City police Lt. Mike Shank. The suspect “approached the kiosk armed with a handgun tucked inside of

his waistband” and stole 18 new iPhone 6S models, Shank said. The suspect was believed to be in his late teens or early 20s. He was wearing a Cincinnati Reds cap and carried a large, dark-colored duffel bag in

which he concealed the pilfered phones as he walked out of the mall. Anyone with information about the suspect, who should be considered armed and dangerous, was urged to call Culver City police detectives at (310) 253-6311.
