Police searched today for a 79-year-old man with dementia who went missing in South Los Angeles. Alvin Brewer was last seen about 9 p.m. Thursday in the 200 block of West 84th Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Brewer is black, 6 feet 2, around 250 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a gray sweater and khaki pants when last seen.
