Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. announced this month its receipt of a bridge contract from the U.S. Air Force to provide research operations support services for the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory at Edwards Air Force Base.

The bridge contract is for a period of six months and is valued at $9.8 million, according to Pasadena-based Jacobs Engineering.
