Big Rig Overturned on the 10/110 transition

A big rig overturned today on a freeway transition road in the Exposition Park area, slightly injuring the trucker and snarling traffic for hours — well into the morning commute,  the California Highway

Patrol reported. The crash took place about 12:45 a.m. and resulted in closure of the eastbound and westbound transition from the Santa Monica (10) Freeway to the southbound Harbor (110) Freeway, CHP Officer Patrick Kimball said. Traffic was backed up on the 10 Freeway and on the collector road that

runs parallel to the freeway, the CHP reported. The transition road was closed while crews worked to clear the scene. The roadway was reopened about 9:15 a.m., the CHP reported
