A man and a woman injured in a traffic collision allegedly caused by a boxer who trains out of Floyd Mayweather’s gym reached a settlement in a lawsuit they filed against both fighters, court papers obtained today show. Daniel Hoffman, an attorney for Peter Park and Susan Young Choi, filed court papers April 26 with Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elia Weinbach stating that the case was resolved. No terms were divulged. Park and Choi filed the lawsuit in December 2014 against Mayweather and J’Leon Love. Mayweather was not in Love’s car, but the suit alleged Love was in the “course and scope” of his employment with Mayweather when he hit Park’s car head-on at high speed near Olympic Boulevard and Fifth Street south of

downtown Los Angeles in June 2014. Park said he suffered head, neck and foot injuries. Choi said she had upper body, neck and shoulder injuries. News accounts of the accident stated that Mayweather was at the BET Awards ceremony that day and that his children were in Love’s car when the crash happened, but they were not seriously hurt.
