Brotherhood Crusade and U.S. Soccer Foundation Host Jamboree in Algin Sutton Park

Day of fun and fitness with tournament-like festival of games, music, free healthy snacks and family engagement.

LOS ANGELES, CA, April  27, 2016 – Brotherhood Crusade and the U.S. Soccer Foundation will host the “Soccer for Success Jamboree” on Wednesday, May 4th from 2:30pm to 5:30pm at Algin Sutton Park, located at 8800 S Hoover St. Los Angeles CA 90044.

More than 100 children, grades 1 – 8, who participate in the Brotherhood Crusade’s Soccer for Success Program in partnership with the U.S. Soccer Foundation will be in attendance at Algin Sutton Park in South LA.

The day of fun and fitness will feature a tournament-like festival of games, music, free healthy snacks and family engagement.  Opportunities include:

Cheer for the Children!  3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Come out to the Jamboree to observe our caring coach-mentors and enthusiastic youth, just to learn more about the U.S. Soccer Foundation’s impact locally in the Los Angeles region and nationally with 30,000 children participating in Soccer for Success programs in underserved urban communities across the country.

Volunteer! 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

We will have 6 trained coach-mentors at the Jamorbee who will lead the festivities and games of the day, along with dozens of volunteers to help as:

•   Referees

•   Assistant Coaches

•   Game Announcers

•   Free Snack Distributors

•   Event Logistics Coordinators

•   Nutrition Education Booth Volunteers

•   Water Team

•   Obesity Prevention Team

•   Partner Booths Volunteers

•   Family Outreach
