Police asked for the public’s help today to locate a
29-year-old woman who was last seen waiting for a bus outside of Union
Station a week ago.
Chardae Michelle Johnson was last seen about 6 p.m. April 20 in the 800
block of Alameda Street, Los Angeles police said. She had been expected to
visit family in Palmdale that day, but never arrived.
Johnson was described as black, 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing about
115 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a peach-
and-cream sweatsuit with a black sweater and black purse, police said.
Anyone with information about her whereabouts was asked to call the Los
Angeles Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit at (213) 996-1800 or Crime
Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS.
