Los Angeles police officers John Manoogian, Jose Martinez and Sherry Hevner-

Rygh against the city. They allege personnel complaints were initiated against

them in retaliation for refusing to go along with management requests that they

assist in finding that their supervisor, Detective William Cooper, had engaged

lawsuit filed against Los Angeles Unified on behalf of a disabled girl who was

3 years old when she was allegedly sexually assaulted in October 2010 by a bus

driver who was contracted by the LAUSD with First Student Inc. to drive her to

Ermine Nelson’s negligence lawsuit against the city of Santa Monica. She

alleges that city police officer’s negligent driving resulted in a fatal
