Carmelita Jeter visits Boys & Girls Club

Three-time U.S. Olympic track medalist and “Fastest Woman Alive,” Carmelita Jeter gave back to the community in a big way by visiting The Boys & Girls Club this week. During her visit Jeter she spoke on the importance of living an active and healthy lifestyle and shed light on her determination to take Gold at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil. Additionally, she showed the kids a good time by leading physical activities, signing autographs and donating a sports package. Jeter visited The Boys & Girls Club as an Athlete Ambassador for the Team for Tomorrow program, an organization ran by the 2016 U.S. Olympic and Paralympic teams. Ambassadors such as Jeter go across the globe educating their U.S. teammates and spreading awareness about Team for Tomorrow’s causes for 2016.
