Reward posted for child molester

A reward has been posted for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a child molester who allegedly sexually assaulted a 10-year-old girl at a Palmdale Denny’s restaurant in on New Years Day 2014.

Los Angeles County Mayor Michael Antonovich recommended extending the reward which was set to expire on Monday. It will now be available for an additional 90 days.

The attacker, estimated to be 18 to 20 years old, reportedly assaulted the girl at 4:30 p.m. as she exited the restroom stall at the restaurant located in the 37000 block of 47th Street East in Palmdale. Detectives believe the suspect is a panhandler named “Shrink” who was often seen at a nearby Chevron station in the early morning hours.

The suspect is described as White, with shaggy blond hair and a noticeable limp. He stands about 5-foot, 8-inches and weighs approximately 150 pounds.
