ABBA Mania will take over the Lancaster Performing Arts Center tomorrow. The tribute band pays homage to the legendary Swedish pop group of the 1970s and 1980s and presents a remarkable recreation of the music and style of the iconic disco/pop quartet.

ABBA Mania formed in 1999 and has entertained audiences of all ages across the globe and enabled people to relive the era of face glitter, platform shoes, big hair and funky outfits that not even Elton John could copy. Considered one of the finest ABBA production shows in the world, ABBA Mania is accompanied by a 12-piece ensemble from the London Ontario Symphony Orchestra and will perform all the big hits including “Dancing Queen,” “Take A Chance on Me,” “Know Me Knowing You,” “Waterloo,” “Thank You for the Music,” “Does Your Mother Know?” and “Momma Mia.”

With fantastic vocals and authentic costumes—made by the original seamstress from the film “Momma Mia”–ABBA Mania is said to perfectly recreate the period when ABBA ruled the pop charts in America, Europe and Asia. The original ABBA consisted of Benny Andersson, Bjorn Ulvaeus, Anni-Frid “Frida” Lyugstad and Agnetha Faltskog.

Tickets are $19 and $29 and may be purchased online at www.LPAC.org, by phone at (661) 723-5950, or at the LPAC box office, 750 W. Lancaster Blvd., open from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
