Learn about attending a state college

Middle and high school students and their parents or guardians will have the opportunity to meet representatives from all 23 of the California State University campuses during the free sixth annual CSU Super Saturday College Fair this Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Cal State Dominguez Hills, 1000 E. Victoria St., Carson.

During one of six workshops, participants can learn about the CSU system, admission requirements, financial aid, the various degree options and what it takes to be ready academically to attend one of the campuses.

Each college will also have a booth with representatives available to talk specifics about their respective campus.

Those living in Antelope Valley and Ventura, Riverside and San Bernardino counties can take advantage of free transportation to CSU Dominguez provided by McDonalds restaurants of Southern California. The busses leave at 7 a.m. and return at 4 p.m. A free breakfast will be served from 6 to 7 a.m.
