The Lancaster Auto Mall, 10th Street West and K8, is sponsoring its first-ever HOT HOT HOT Chili Cook-Off tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. This family-friendly event will feature live music from local band Shotgun Granny, as well as free carnival-style games, free hot dogs, and free chili, while supplies last.

“On behalf of the city of Lancaster, I’d like to thank the auto dealers of the Lancaster Auto Mall for providing this event to our community,” said Mayor R. Rex Parris. “Not only does it provide a venue for family fun; it will also raise funds for a valued local charity.”

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of the Antelope Valley.

“We hope everyone will come out to have fun, support the Boys and Girls Club and take advantage of the red tag savings throughout the entire Lancaster Auto Mall,” said Tom Fuller, president of the Lancaster Auto Mall Association and co-owner of Hunter Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram & Fiat.

The Lancaster Auto Mall will be offering “Red Tag” rebates and specials on select vehicles for a 48-hour period starting tomorrow.
