The city of Lancaster’s Museum of Art and History (MOAH) will be “dark” through Oct. 28 in order to transition from the current exhibition and install the upcoming round of shows.
From Oct. 29 through Jan. 5, MOAH will exhibit several bodies of art including The Frostig Collection in the Main Gallery.
The Frostig Collection is an ongoing series of artworks, created by well-known artists, which benefit children with learning disabilities, such as Asperger’s and high-functioning autism.
In addition to the artists of The Frostig Collection, the entire second floor will showcase “Objectified” by Bradford J. Salomon in the East Gallery, and Lou Swenson’s “Moving West” in the Wells Fargo Gallery. Meanwhile, Christoff Van Kooning’s outdoor sculpture “Invertibles” will be displayed on the third floor rooftop terrace.
During this transitional period, patrons are encouraged to visit the Western Hotel Museum (WHM), located at 557 W. Lancaster Blvd., during regular operating hours.
