The Los Angeles Dodgers will join Autism Speaks in conducting Autism Awareness Night at tonight’s game against the New York Mets at Dodger Stadium, seeking to raise awareness for the disorder that affects 1 in 88 American children.

The Dodgers will donate a portion of the proceeds from each ticket sold through an online promotion to Autism Speaks, the nation’s largest autism science and advocacy organization.

Actress Holly Robinson Peete, who has a son affected by autism, will perform the National Anthem.
