Communities Actively Living Independent & Free (CALIF), an advocacy center that serves the disability and senior population of central Los Angeles, will celebrate the 23rd annivesary of the Americans with Disabilities Act on Friday, July 26, at Union Station.

In the act’s honor, the Center, in partnership with Los Angeles Metro, has organized a disability-sensitivity activity to bring awareness of the disability experience. There will be various types of assistive technology equipment—including wheelchairs, walkers—to help others become aware of the experiences of people with disabilities. The Center encourages those interested to join them at 12 p.m. on the East Portal side at Union Station near the big fish tank.
