LOS ANGELES, Calif. — A man shot to death in an unincorporated area near South Los Angeles was identified today.
Joseph Jordan, 26, was killed about 3 p.m. Saturday in the 11100 block of South Vermont Avenue, according to Deputy Kim Manatt of the Sheriff’s Headquarters Bureau.
Deputies arriving at the location found Jordan on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso, Manatt said.
Jordan was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Manatt said.
No suspect information was available, but investigators believe the shooting was gang-related, Manatt said.
