Four plays have opened at Center Theatre Group, but one has closed

“Joe Turner’s Come and Gone” director Phylicia Rashad and Congresswoman Maxine Waters greeted recently at Center Theatre Group’s spring launch event for four CTG productions–“Fela!,” “The Royale,” “Joe Turner’s Come and Gone” and “The Scottsboro Boys.” “Fela!” has completed its run. “The Scottsboro Boys”(Ahmanson Theatre) runs through June 30, “The Royale” (Kirk Douglas Theatre) runs through June 2 and “Joe Turner’s Come and Gone” (Mark Taper Forum) runs through June 9.
