Rhyver White, front row far right, a student at Lou Dantzler High School in South Los Angeles, finished second place in the August Wilson Monologue Competition Monday at the CTG/Mark Taper Forum. She will travel to New York to compete for a spot in the national contest. Pablo Lopez, next to White, finished first place in the local contest and earns an automatic spot in the finals.
