Reba Toney, the on-air personality of JCTV’s “Top 3” and TBN’s “Breaking Good News,” will host the 8th annual “Blessing Africa: Sharing the Agape Moments,” on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, at the South Coast Botanic Garden in Palos Verdes.

Blessing Africa is designed to support two children’s project in Africa–Hosanna House, an orphanage for girls who have lost their parents due to the HIV/AIDS virus, and Hosanna Soccer League, a program dedicated to caring for young boys who live under extreme poverty and who otherwise would not be able to attend school.

Both programs currently assist more than 100 disadvantaged children ages 8 to 14.

The fund-raising event will feature musical guests, African food, a colorful fashion show, arts and crafts as well brunch and a live auction.

“We look forward every year to our signature fundraiser that helps bring greater awareness to the needs of hurting children in Africa,” said Tersit Asrat, founder of Hosanna Broadcasting Foundation. “We are extremely grateful for the support of our many friends who partner with us year after year to help raise funds in support of this vital work,” said Asrat.

The brunch starts at 2 p.m. Donations are $35 in advance and $45 at the door. Vendor information may be obtained by contacting Hosanna Broadcasting Foundation at (310) 348 -9188.
