Dancer, musician detained in Tokyo death

James ‘King Tight’ Blackston, 23, a Los Angeles dancer, and Larry Perry, a musician, 19, have reportedly been arrested in Tokyo, Japan, with as part of a police investigation into the death of an Irish exchange student.

Both are being held in custody in the suspected rape and death of the student, Nicki Furlong, 21.

According to reports, Furlong, 21, and a friend met the two men at a Nicki Minaj concert and went to a hotel together. After customers complained of loud noises coming from the room, hotel employees investigated and found Furlong unable to respond. She was pronounced dead the following morning.

Blackston, it is reported, has been featured in many music videos and performed with various artists, including Chris Brown, Jennifer Lopez,  Minaj, and the Black Eyed Peas.

He has also been active in numerous entertainment events, including the Dancing Against Violence tour, which was held in Bonn, Germany. According to unconfirmed reports, Blackston toured with Tommy Johnson, who founded one of the more well known clown performance tours, commonly known as Tommy The Clown.

As a teenager, Blackston traveled the globe with Tommy The Clown to entertain at various venues and parties.  Blackston later transitioned into mainstream dancing.
